Day 1
Scenic mountain flight to Jomsom, trek to Kagbeni at the edge of Upper Mustang.
Day 2
Enter the restricted region and trek through arid canyons to Chele.
Day 3
Cross high passes with views of the Nilgiri and Damodar ranges.
Day 4
Pass ancient chortens and red cliffs en route to the village of Ghami.
Day 5
Visit the red monastery and dzong (fort) overlooking the valley.
Day 6
Arrive at the walled capital of the former Kingdom of Lo.
Day 7
Full day visiting royal palace, monasteries, and surrounding caves.
Day 8
Retrace the route back to Jomsom for the return flight.
